1. MOBILITY
Choose venues, hotels, restaurants... that can be reached by public transportation, plan shuttles by buses for everybody or transfer people in high end e-cars like Tesla, to avoid guests using their own cars, offer charging points for electrical cars and bike safe parkings.
2. PAPER LESS
Be as digital as possible! Use online save the date's and invitations, apps with the agendas and programs, webs and emails for online registrations and basic info, digital customer satisfaction surveys, online voting systems...
And if you cannot avoid using paper, just try to use recyclable paper and print both sides.
3. VENUES
Just by choosing Venues with environmental certifications and/or waste management programs your event/program turns automatically a 60% more sustainable!
4. HOTELS
Many 4* and 5* hotels are really compromised and have European and International sustainable certifications, Green policies and even reward their clients when they achieve practices by donating to NP0's... By choosing one of these hotels your event turns immediately 60% more sustainable, so it's a good way to start.
5. CATERINGS
We aim to use Km0, local producers, seasonal food, bio or eco-friendly products... so your event will be healthier and more responsible. And, on top... amazing! Avoid plastics, try to reduce waste, use washable and/or recyclable items and add plants and flowers to create a wonderful and relaxing setting.
6. NO PLASTIC POLICY
Imagine a plastic free event, neither in any printed matters, banners, roll ups, posters, signage, name badges... nor in gifts and merchandising and finally, instead of serving water in individual plastic bottles, use fancy thermo bottles that can be re-filled, water dispensers and jars.
7. MEASURE & DIFUSSE
Best is that this actions are easily measurable! By the end of the program, we'll give you a REPORT showing HOW sustainable you have been. So you and your client can feel proud of it.
On top, inform the attendees, speakers, suppliers... everyone related to the event, even the press!
There is nothing like leading by example.
